What we embroider

Jackets and outerwear

  • Softshell jackets
  • Fleece jackets
  • Lightweight jackets
  • Work jackets
  • Vests
  • Other suitable outerwear

Possible placements include left chest, right chest, sleeve, upper back, and the back where it is technically appropriate.

Outerwear needs a closer look

Lining, insulation, waterproof construction and how the embroidery area can be reached all affect whether, and where, a jacket can be embroidered. Some jackets can only be embroidered in certain areas, and some not at all.

Stitching passes through the fabric. We do not claim that embroidery preserves a jacket’s waterproofing or other performance characteristics, so if that matters for your garment, tell us and we will review it with you before anything is stitched.

Where stitching directly into a jacket is not practical, an embroidered patch may be worth considering. We will advise for your garment.

Questions

What can you embroider?

Suitable garments, workwear, headwear and textile accessories: shirts, polos, hoodies, jackets, caps, beanies, bags, aprons and similar items. Whether a specific item suits embroidery depends on its fabric, construction and the area you want stitched, so we confirm that for your item before production.

Can you embroider something I already own?

Possibly. We review customer-supplied items case by case and cannot confirm we can work on one until we have seen the details. Tell us about it in your quote request, ideally with a photo.

How much does embroidery cost?

There is no fixed price list. Cost depends on the item, the quantity, the size and complexity of the design, how many locations you want, digitizing and any personalization. Send us your details and we will reply with a written quote.

What is digitizing?

An embroidery machine does not stitch from an image file. Your artwork is converted into stitch instructions that tell the machine where and how to stitch, suited to the design, the material and the size. Artwork made for printing is not automatically ready for embroidery.

What artwork should I send?

The best original you have, ideally vector (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF). A high-resolution PNG is also helpful. We will tell you if anything needs simplifying for embroidery.

Is there a minimum order?

We have not published a minimum. We confirm what is practical for your item and design when we quote.
